This beautiful veranda that matches the Montreal style of the house is in Western Red Cedar timber frame. We dyed it in Sansin’s Golden Autumn color and built it on a Havana Gold Trex composite patio. Its flat roof, aligned with the window from above, creates the illusion that it is an integral part of the house. It is accessible directly from the inside the home but it is also equipped with two kinds of screen doors leading to the patio. One is a standard door and the other is a double retractable door. They provide a view of the landscape and the rest of the patio. In order to make the space safer, the windows installed on the beams and columns in the lower sections also serve as guardrails. Finally, mosquito screens close off the other openings. In addition, we built a composite bench near the pool. It is freestanding and integrated into the patio structure.
