Rothoblaas - HBS8260 is the queen of wood screws. Approved for structural applications, it has significant wood penetration capacity and superior seismic performance.
The high strengths make HBS the preferred screw among carpenters among Torx screws. Made of carbon steel with white zinc plating, it is designed for use with solid wood, glued laminated timber, wood-based panels and high-density timbers. The asymmetrical “ umbrella ” thread ensures high penetration capacity in wood.
The excellent breaking strength and high yield strength of the steel as well as the very high torsional strength make this screw extremely safe during screwdriving.
