The custom design we created for this client aimed to integrate all sections of the yard and offer a beautiful view of the in-ground pool from everywhere. She wanted to have a bistro area near the house, a dining room with relaxation area near the swimming pool and a poolhouse with built-in television and integrated storage.
First, we designed an Azek Vintage PVC patio in English Walnut color to accommodate the bistro area. The skirt, Coastline color, hides a storage space. On the concrete slab, we positioned the dining area under a huge pergola. It is made of Western red cedar dyed Black Onyx from Sansin and holds thanks to the Toja supports. Alternating shade sails in the natural sleepers create a beautiful visual effect, while providing shade. A reminder of natural wood is created with the low walls that frame the pergola. On the side, a Hoft wall with a black aluminum cutout, Hexx model from Hideaway, is used to accommodate the barbecue area. This is perfect for adding hooks and shelves to make everything practical. On the opposite side, there are two hanging chairs near the door that gives access to the swimming pool.
White aluminum cutouts, Maui model from Hideaway, as well as black Veradek planters decorate the area near the pool. The star of this section is undoubtedly the poolhouse at the end of the swimming pool. It also has a closed storage space which serves as a shed. Additionally, there is an open storage area at the rear to hide pool equipment and accessories. The gazebo attaches to the main structure to provide a covered relaxation area right next to the pool. From this space, you can watch television which is sheltered in the shed portion. A fireplace sits in the middle of the place to enhance the evenings.
Throughout the layout, there are In-Lite exterior lighting fixtures. We can see the Puck 22 on the patio and the risers, as well as on the ground around the swimming pool. The Flows are under the columns of the pergola as well as the cutouts. The Luna accentuate the relief of the cedar hedge from the ground. In the structure of the pergola, we chose Mini-Scope and Mini-Scope Ceiling. Finally, for the poolhouse, Ace Up-Downs are on each side of the window and near the shed door.
