This modern gazebo was custom designed for a client who wanted to have a lounge section near the swimming pool. She wanted to enjoy the outdoors, sheltered from the sun and rain. She also wanted a modern gazebo with enough space to accommodate a large sectional sofa.
We therefore developed a design in white pine timberframe. We built it from a hybrid assembly. It is dyed in two tones, Espresso and Sansin Onyx Black. The cover has only one slope, which is towards the rear. This aspect allows you to maintain a clear view from above to the front of the gazebo. We chose to put it in asphalt shingles of the same color as those of the house in order to create unity between the elements.
The ceiling inside the structure is finished in pine paneling and the beams are exposed. In addition, the particular angle of the braces and the roof contribute to giving character and a unique and modern look to the structure.
