These clients wanted a large patio with a veranda to be able to take full advantage of the magnificent view they have of Lake Ouareau. The veranda was to house a dining room for 8 to 10 people in addition to a sofa to admire the view. The front patio runs along the back of the house, which would make it a large terrace for the lounge and outdoor kitchen. Special request, we also had to enhance the space provided for the spa on the land.
We therefore opted for Azek Vintage PVC in Coastline color for the huge patio. The color goes easily with everything and since it is pale, PVC retains heat less. The veranda is on the side of the house, at the very end of the patio. Towards the lake, aluminum and glass railings secure the terrace, while freeing up the view. This is the Murano model from Aluminum Distinction. Outside the veranda, the outdoor kitchen with PVC bar, is the first area upon exiting the house. Right next door is the lounge, equipped with an offset parasol for protection.
Then, access to the lanai can be through a standard screen door or through the large opening with a retractable screen door. Near the edge, the sofa allows you to relax while admiring the lake. The dining room is at the back, which allows it to benefit from a special decor. At the top of the wooden walls, custom-made Hideaway cutouts add a beautiful visual punch. On the wall of the house, we integrate shelves between the columns to create a decorative and practical space. Small feature of the veranda: have you noticed that a column with the attached guy wires stands out from the crowd? In fact, it is an abstract reproduction of a tree. This distinctive element is unique to this design!
On the ground, hammocks are suspended between the patio support columns. Below the veranda, a large storage space occupies the space to store sports and nautical equipment. Finally, we added Hoft walls with cutouts near the spa to enhance the area. Accessories such as hooks, planters and shelves make the wall both practical and aesthetic. In the evening, it is then possible to take advantage of the entire layout thanks to In-Lite exterior lighting devices. Several lights are placed throughout the courtyard to give a warm atmosphere once the sun sets.
