For the veranda and patio of this residence in Sainte-Thérèse, the mandate was clear; design a tailor-made design for a patio to accommodate around thirty people and a veranda with an exposed solid wood structure, all in harmony with the house and the environment. It was therefore Louis Philippe Lord of PurPatio.ca who was responsible for the design.
The structure of the terrace and veranda is supported by 25 screw piles which ensure a solid and durable construction. Tiki Torch-colored Trex composite flooring with Spiced Rum accents and fascias is maintenance-free and comes with a 25-year warranty. A covered corridor provides access from the living room and the kitchen to the exterior layout while being sheltered from bad weather.
The veranda structure is impressive with its oversized pine columns and beams supported by steel hangers anchored with stainless steel lag screws. The perfect place to enjoy an early morning coffee while contemplating the swimming pool below. Original red cedar flower boxes complete the layout.
