The mandate for this project was to create atmosphere in this client's already existing veranda. She wanted to enhance her decor with stylish, quality and versatile outdoor lighting fixtures. Additionally, she wanted to have a starry sky effect on her ceiling.
We first focused on this ceiling which would become the star element of the room. The primary goal being to have the impression of looking at the stars, the formats of the devices we have chosen are varied. To give this impression, we have selected 4 types of lights. There are built-ins, the Fusion and the Fusion 22, which are a little smaller. There are also some that have a bas-relief, namely the Puck and the Puck 22, which are also a little smaller. The combination of these 4 devices, strategically arranged, provides a breathtaking look! Although their location seems random, their positioning is carefully studied to create this beautiful painting.
Then, to highlight the special decorations on the veranda walls, we opted for Mini Scopes. The light output of each device is adjustable, so we placed one on each side of the decorations. This lighting highlights them and gives them the look of a work of art. Also, don't forget the built-in Fluxes in each corner of the room. By lighting towards the ceiling, they give a soft ambiance which highlights the limits of the space. Finally, to make the layout practical, we added an appliance above the dining room. This is a Disc Pendant Trio device. Each of the Discs is fixed at a different height for a more beautiful lighting effect. In addition, the intensity of the lights can be adjusted according to the mood of the guests at the table. We can therefore say that this veranda does not lack character with its perfectly unique lighting!
