The G-TAPE 3035BK-2 protective membrane is a professional solution for protecting your patio joists and beams from moisture, rot, and premature damage. Thanks to its high-performance acrylic adhesive, G-TAPE creates a watertight seal on top of joists and beams to prevent water infiltration around screws and nails, where wood typically begins to degrade. This membrane is hand-tearable, does not stick to itself, is easily repositionable during installation, and then forms a permanent bond after curing time.
** Linerless version: the membrane is applied directly to the joist, with no backing film to remove. Unlike tapes with a liner, there is no paper or film to peel off before installation, which speeds up installation and reduces waste on the job site.
