This beautiful sunroom, designed to complement the Montreal style of the house, is made of Western Red Cedar timber frame. We stained it in Sansin's Autumn Gold. We built it on top of the Trex composite patio in Havana Gold. Its flat roof, aligned with the window above, creates the illusion that it's an integral part of the house. It's accessible directly from inside but also features two types of screened doors that open onto the patio: a standard door and a retractable double door. These allow for views of the landscaping and the rest of the patio.
To ensure safety, glass panels installed directly into the beams and columns in the lower sections serve as railings. Finally, mosquito nets close off the other openings. In addition, we designed a freestanding composite bench near the pool, integrated into the patio structure.
