We designed this hemlock timberframe and Canexel shed for a client who wanted storage space. She also wanted a covered area for a bistro table for two. We therefore custom-built her shed with an exposed frame and a metal roof that also covers the table area. We constructed it on a concrete slab using knife plates, hardware that allows for secure anchoring to this type of surface. A traditional mortise and tenon joint forms the structure, which has a rather modern style. Another beautiful project that combines practicality and aesthetics.
