We built this Trex composite deck in several sections for customers who wanted to have a maintenance-free patio. It was to include a barbecue area as well as a square table for 4 people. It was also to include a separate pool patio with lounge chairs. Additionally, we needed to add a skirt to the patio to make a nice finish and create storage underneath.
We therefore created a hybrid patio in Trex composite in Clam Shell color for the floor and in Black Onyx stained cedar from Sansin for the skirt, walls and pergola. Horizontal cedar planks make up the privacy walls, placed on each side of the layout.
In addition, the swimming pool section is separated and secured by black aluminum railings which are integrated into the structure of the pergola. The skirt, for its part, is made of vertical boards to create a contrast. Finally, we installed Trex lights in the risers to provide a beautiful ambiance in the evening.
