We were commissioned to build a front deck for this beautiful country property in Saint-Sauveur. It had to maintain the same layout and dimensions as the existing one. Given the style and color scheme of the house, we opted for a Trex Transcend Tropical patio in Spiced Rum. The texture and color gradient of this material make it look like real wood. However, it's maintenance-free, much to the delight of the homeowners!

First, the staircase is integrated with the existing stone steps in the steep landscaping. This was, in fact, the main reason we had to replicate the previous layout. To create a contrasting effect, the railings are Clay colored. This is a blend of the Murano model for the sections on the Trex patio and the Heritage model for the Aluminum Distinction staircase. The choice of these railing models and this color accentuates the rustic style of the property.

Furthermore, aluminum columns support the roof covering the patio, which is attached to the house. The roof itself is supported by Sansin's Espresso-stained wood columns. This blend of colors and materials harmonizes perfectly with the residence, creating a complete and cohesive look. Finally, the patio's length, which slightly exceeds that of the house, allows for a relaxing space without obstructing the view from inside.
