Hybrid patio built with Trex Transcend Tropical composite decking and natural cedar. We chose Havana Gold and Spiced Rum composite colors, which complement the natural wood tone. This project is located in St-Sauveur. The clients wanted to be able to barbecue year-round, enjoy the sun, and dine near their beautiful in-ground pool.
We therefore created a first level at the height of the patio door with an outdoor kitchen. A pergola protects the owners from the sun while they cook. The barbecue is located there, along with a privacy wall integrated into the pergola. In addition, there is a counter that can also be used as a bar. A little lower down, there is a large landing for the relaxation and outdoor dining area. A cedar pergola with a side privacy wall, complete with an alcove for displaying decorative items, frames this area.
At ground level, behind the pergola, we built raised garden beds so that the plants will enhance the landscape over time. Finally, the step leading to the courtyard is curved, blending seamlessly with the rounded shapes of the in-ground pool and the surrounding walkway.
