This client asked us to design a complete layout to make the most of her yard and pool, as if she were staying at a resort. She also wanted several distinct living spaces and a welcoming atmosphere for entertaining. So we designed a very large, multi-level Azek patio for her.
We chose Azek PVC from the Vintage collection, in Coastline and Dark Hickory colors. These colors create a beautiful contrast and add a touch of elegance to the design. Furthermore, it's a maintenance-free material. The dining area is located on the first level. A large PVC bench and a table seating 10 to 12 people make up the dining area. A Jardin de Ville gazebo provides shade.
Next, the second level houses the relaxation and lounge areas. Sun loungers are arranged around the pool. A Dark Hickory PVC wall defines the lounge area. The 7.25" wide planks are mounted on black aluminum posts. In addition, we added galvanized steel cutouts with openwork patterns to create an attractive visual focal point. Given its proximity to the pool, we installed hooks for hanging towels.
On the other side of the patio, a bar area is integrated under a hemlock pergola. It features a Dark Hickory PVC bar that complements the patio. Beneath the bar, the space is open at the back to create storage, ideal for a small refrigerator or shelves. We've also incorporated the barbecue into this area to make meal preparation easy and enjoyable.
