Vintage-style PVC collection in Mahogany color
The mandate for this custom patio design was to create a beautiful space for them. This included a barbecue area with a bar, a hot tub, and a lounge area with a fireplace. These clients wanted to build their Azek patio themselves. However, they wanted a professionally designed plan to confirm its feasibility and ensure a unique and sophisticated design.
We designed a multi-level deck to accommodate all the required areas. It's an Azek Vintage patio in Mahogany. It's actually PVC, so it's a maintenance-free material. The barbecue area with a bar is located on the first level, just outside the house. The layout allows the bar to also serve as a counter for food preparation. People sitting at the bar can easily chat with the person preparing food or simply sit down for a drink. A privacy wall acts as a railing and also delineates this area. It's made of Western Red Cedar stained Onyx Black, mounted on black aluminum posts.
On the other level, we positioned the lounge area with a fireplace and a cozy reading chair. A Western red cedar pergola, finished in Sansin's Rosewood and Onyx Black, covers this space. We also added black galvanized steel cutouts with geometric patterns to the center of the ceiling. These will create beautiful plays of light on the floor thanks to their openwork design and their alignment with the cedar beams. Finally, we hung string lights from the structure to brighten the evenings.
Under the upper landing, there was enough space to integrate concealed storage. Accessible via double doors, it's ideal for storing accessories or furniture once the summer season is over. Finally, the spa is located close to the house and accessible from all levels, making it the central element of this design.
