We designed this multi-level Trex deck to allow residents to enjoy the outdoor space at different times. The different levels divide it into several living areas. It also offers two separate access points to the yard, one leading to the entrance and the other to the pool.

We find the first landing at the patio door. Its surface area is large enough to accommodate the barbecue. We secured it with a black Standard railing from Aluminium Distinction, as well as a bar. The bar is L-shaped and we custom-designed it in composite and stained cedar. The Trex deck has a stained cedar skirting that provides a beautiful finish to the space below. We then descend three steps to reach the dining area, which can easily seat 6 to 8 people. Furthermore, we ensured its privacy with a full-height wall of horizontal stained cedar slats, giving it a contemporary look with a sense of spaciousness. It is made in the same tones as the bar to create a unified look throughout.

Just one step away, we installed the lounge area, featuring a sectional sofa and retro-style armchairs arranged around a modern concrete fireplace. This space is covered by a timberframe pergola draped with sheer curtains to maximize privacy if desired. It's also designed to minimize direct sunlight by offering partial shade. Its Espresso and Onyx Black color from Sansin blends beautifully with the two composite flooring tones: Gravelpath from the Transcend Classic line and Spiced Rum from the Transcend Tropical line by Trex. We chose to add Trex lights to all the risers to enhance the ambiance. In short, this bold design, with its emphasis on volume and contrast, creates a dynamic and unique look.
