Western Red Cedar 5/4"x6"
This Trex deck is logically designed to meet all the homeowners' needs and to connect the house and the pool. We designed a large Trex Transcend Tropical deck in Havana Gold and Spiced Rum colors.
On this platform, all the areas are close together. On one side, there's a barbecue area with a composite bar counter. A lounge area is also set up here with a cantilevered parasol, offering shade to its occupants. Along the entire length of this side, there's a privacy wall made of Western Red Cedar, stained a natural color and mounted on black aluminum posts. We added black galvanized steel cutouts with openwork cubic patterns to create a decorative element.
On the other side of the patio, we installed the dining area under a modern Western Red Cedar pergola. We stained it Sansin's Onyx Black to contrast with the composite colors and give the space a contemporary yet timeless look. It features a retractable shade sail that provides shade when deployed. The entire perimeter is secured with black aluminum and glass railings. This is the Murano model from Aluminium Distinction. In addition, the hot tub is attached to the stairs for easy and direct access.
Finally, to make this design as beautiful as it is practical, we integrated storage under the patio. It's concealed behind the cedar skirting, also stained Onyx Black, and accessible via a door. Ideal for storing pool accessories and decorative items once summer is over!
