The mandate was to create a complete, maintenance-free layout by integrating several living areas. So we opted for a Trex patio. First of all, we positioned a first landing at the exit of the house which will be used for barbecues. It is backed by a Western red cedar wall stained Black Onyx from Sansin, just like the skirt. Additionally, there is a small place next to it to put a surface that will help with meal preparation.
The second level is the main living area. It accommodates a dining area, a lounge area in addition to a bar and direct access to the spa. The bar is placed so that its occupants can have an overview and chat with everyone. The lounge section is set up near the spa so that those who do not want to go there can still be nearby and enjoy the sun.
Finally, the dining section is installed under the modern white pine gazebo with mosquito net curtains. Its sloped roof and the mix of Espresso and Black Onyx stain colors from Sansin match perfectly with the composite patio. It is in Trex Transcend Tropical Havana Gold and Spiced Rum. Its height allows it to integrate two separate storage spaces, one on each side of the patio.
Finally, Murano black aluminum and glass railings from Aluminum Distinction secure the perimeter of the patio while maintaining a completely unobstructed view of the landscape. We can say that it is a beautiful layout with several zones which allows occupants to have beautiful moments outside!
