Rothoblaas - HBSEVO6200 is one of the most resistant wood screws for outdoor use. Thanks to its special surface treatment, it can be used on wood containing tannin or impregnated with chemicals.
Ideal for applications with species containing tannin or treated with impregnation products or other chemical processes, it is approved for structural applications stressed in any direction relative to the fiber.
The asymmetrical " umbrella " thread ensures excellent penetration capacity in wood. HBS EVO is characterized by high resistance: the tests carried out have demonstrated excellent breaking strength and a high yield strength of the steel, as well as very high torsional strength for safer screwing.
Excellent for fixing timber frame panels and trusses, it offers excellent performance for fixing to solid and glulam timber, CLT, LVL, high density timber and aggressive timber containing tannin (such as oak and chestnut) or chemically treated timber.
