Rothoblaas - HBSEVO8320 is one of the most durable outdoor wood screws. Thanks to its special surface treatment, it can be used in service class 3 and atmospheric corrosivity class C4, as well as on wood containing tannin or impregnated with chemicals.
Ideal for applications with species containing tannin or treated with impregnation products or other chemical processes, it is approved for structural applications stressed in any direction with respect to the fiber.
The asymmetrical “ umbrella ” thread ensures excellent penetration capacity into the wood. HBS EVO is characterized by high resistance: the tests carried out have demonstrated excellent resistance to breaking and a high elastic limit of the steel, as well as very high torsion resistance for safer screwdriving.
Excellent for fixing wooden frame panels and triangulated beams, it offers excellent performance for fixing solid and glued laminated wood, CLT, LVL, high density wood and aggressive woods containing tannin (such as oak). and chestnut) or chemically treated.
